Key Leaders Conference is an annual meeting and orientation for all district committee members and commissioners. As part of the day's festivities, the council will recognize the most recent recipients of the Silver Beaver Award.
The first half of the training portion is dedicated to district committee training covering the basics of district operations and the role the district plays in supporting units and delivering the Scouting program. Conference participants will then have an opportunity to meet and interact with other district leaders during the committee breakout sessions.
After the council recognition is completed, there will be a short break and those individuals who are not a part of the remaining program for the Key Leaders Conference, including family and friends of the Silver Beaver Recipients, will be dismissed before we rejoin our training program for the remainder of the Key Leaders Conference.
