The annual Friends of Scouting Campaign supports the current operations of the Sam Houston Area Council.
Thanks to the generosity of The Cockrell Foundation, gifts for Endowment from $500 - $25,000 will be matched dollar for dollar. Be sure to take advantage of this program between now and December 15th.
Memorial and Tribute contributions are gifts to the Sam Houston Area Council’s Endowment and are a gratifying way for individuals, businesses, or groups to remember special friends. Your special donation "in memory of” or “in honor of” for that extraordinary individual in your life will be acknowledged and handled with great care.
It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the Friends of Eagles Sporting Clays Tournament to be held at the Rio Brazos Hunting Preserve. Proceeds go to support the New Eagle Scout Reception.
The Sam Houston Area Council continued its tradition of providing this reception free of charge for the incoming Eagle Scout Class and their guests, which will be underwritten with generous sponsorships by many Alumni Eagle Scouts and Patrons.

Sporting Clays is America's fastest growing and exciting shotgun sport. Go shooting and support Scouting. This annual spring event raises necessary funds to support the Sam Houston Area Council programs. It's also a great way to learn more about Sam Houston Area Council's accomplishments and needs.
Dodgeball Challenge
Challenge. Dodge. Conquer. Are You Prepared? In dodgeball everyone becomes a target. Friends. Family. Co-workers. No one will be safe. On Saturday, June 8, 2013 we will see who amongst us has what it takes to become a true champion.
Join us for the 37th Annual Sam Houston Area Council Golf Classic at The Kingwood Country Club to support the Sam Houston Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. The Classic will be played in a scramble format with prizes awarded to the top three foursomes on each course. Prizes will also be given for the longest drive and closest to the pin on each course. All proceeds from the event go to support Scouting in the 16 counties supported by the Sam Houston Area Council.
