Chris Holt, Deputy Scout Executive

Chris is the Chief Operating Officer of the council and supervises the council's professional managerial staff. He reports to the President/Scout Executive.
David Foil, Director of Support Service

David is responsible for developing council camping, activities, and training programs, all council properties and the council support staff. He reports to the Deputy Scout Executive.
Jim Rees, Director of Development

Jim is responsible for coordinating and managing all council fundraising efforts throughout the year including Friends of Scouting, Special Events, Foundations and Trusts, capital campaigns and endowment. He supervises the staff in the Development, Marketing and Information Technology Departments. He reports to the President/Scout Executive.
Doug Davies, Controller

Doug oversees council accounts and financial activity and supports the council Treasurer, Audit Committee and Investment Committee and supervises the staff in the Business Services Department. He reports to the President/Scout Executive.
Thomas Franklin, Director of Field Service

Thomas is responsible for all district operations, unit service and membership growth and supervises the Field Directors. He reports to the Deputy Scout Executive.
Lynda Sanders, Marketing/Communications Director

Lynda is responsible for creating and managing marketing programs, media relations and both printed and electronic communications for the council. She reports to the Deputy Scout Executive.
George Adams, Assistant Director of Field Service

George is responsible for all district operations, unit service and membership growth in the Central Division and supervises the District Executives in Aldine Pathfinders, Antares, Blue River, Cherokee, Lone Star, Tejas, and W. L. Davis districts. He reports to the Director of Field Service.

Michelle is responsible for all council activities including council contingents to the Philmont High Adventure Base and National Scout Jamboree and council training programs. She reports to the Director of Support Service.
Vincent Manning, Cub Scout Program Director

Vincent is responsible for supporting the Cub Scout program in all districts and managing all Cub Scout camping programs at the Janis and George Fleming Cub World (on Camp Strake) and the McNair Cub Adventure Camp (on the Bovay Scout Ranch). He reports to the Director of Support Service.
Brett Lee, Boy Scout Program Director

Brett is responsible for supporting the Boy Scout program in all districts and managing all Boy Scout camping programs at the Cockrell River Camp and Walter Scout Camp at Horseshoe Bend (both on El Rancho Cima), and Camp Strake. He reports to the Director of Support Service.
Devin D. Koehler, Senior Development Director

Devin is responsible for helping to endow the council and manages the Council's Endowment Campaign including The Cockrell Foundation Matching Gift Program, the feasibility of a Capital Campaign, and The SHAC Heritage Society, and Planned Giving for the Sam Houston Area Council. He provides leadership to the Continuing Professional Education Courses, and Wills & Trusts Seminars. He provides support to the Eagle Scout Association and the annual Friends of Eagles Sporting Clays, Gathering of Eagles, and the Eagle Scout Recognition. He reports to the Director of Development.
Aaron Javener, Senior Development Director

Aaron is responsible for the annual giving (Friends of Scouting) campaign. Aaron primary responsibility is the strategic development and execution of a comprehensive annual giving program, including the coordination and oversight of supporting initiatives in the areas of development services and donor relations. Through the support of volunteers, he develops a coordinated matrix of communication and solicitation materials including brochures, recognition items, and volunteer engagement meetings, all focused on shaping a sustainable tradition of annual support. He reports to the Director of Development.
Christina Hall, Development Director

Christina is responsible for cultivating foundation relationships, the development of all council grant proposals and training staff in foundation research and grant writing. She reports to the Director of Development.
Stephen Edwards, Information Systems Director

Stephen is responsible for the council network, technology infrastructure, websites, communications systems, audio-visual systems, security systems, environmental systems, and supervises the Information Systems staff. He reports to the Director of Development.
