As summer comes to an end, our Winter Camp key staff members are busy making preparations for another great week of Winter Camp at Camp Strake (just south of Conroe), December 26-31, 2013, at a cost of $250.00 per scout and $100 per additional adult after your 2 free adults register. See you this December at the Winter Camp Olympics!

Winter Camp Director; Bobby Warren, who has served as Program Director at Winter Camp for the last three years, has agreed to accept the role of Camp Director this year. Christopher Jones, who has served the last three years as Camp Director, will return as Assistant Camp Director.
Winter Camp Unit Registrations online are open until December 5th, 2013!
Winter Camp Payment Schedule:
- $250.00 Unit Deposit due at Registration (nonrefundable if Unit Cancels)
- $50.00 Scout Deposit due October 1, 2013 (nonrefundable if scout cancels)
- Registration Balance due December 2, 2013
- Registration closes December 5th, 2013
ALL UNITS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ONE STAFF MEMBER
FOR EVERY SIX (6) SCOUTS ATTENDING WINTER CAMP.
Winter Camp Unit Leader Meeting:
Wednesday; December 4 from 6:30-8:30pm at the Council Office in Houston.
At least one adult leader from each unit should make plans to attend this meeting.
Winter Camp Staff:
A link to the online WC Staff Application are available to be filled out on our Council Web Site. Please have these submitted by November 1st, 2013 for those interested.
Winter Camp Staff positions are on a volunteer basis only. They are not paid positions. Complete the Winter Camp Application and wait. You will be contacted by a Winter Camp Key Staff Member soon.

Registration to sign your scouts up for Merit Badge classes at Winter Camp will begin on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 at 9:00am. Make plans now! Designate someone to handle this for your unit.
